La semana en Madrid

Hay ciertas cosas que no deben ser explicadas, como los motivos que llevan a una persona a determinadas formas de expresión, pero…

Uno de los recuerdos de mi infancia que rememoro últimamente con más intensidad es el de mi padre preguntándome qué significa la música para mí. Le respondí que hay un momento musical por cada momento vital, que hay una canción o una melodía para cada situación que podemos vivir o cada sensación que podemos experimentar: la vida tiene banda sonora propia, el ser humano se la ha regalado.

Me resulta difícil creer que las circunstancias me estén permitiendo demostrárselo, aunque él ya no lo pueda ver.

Seres humanos es la constante; siglo XXI, Internet, tecnología, globalización, es la diferencia.

Tras recibir un estímulo, cualquiera, me encanta sentarme ante el ordenador y poder ponerle fondo musical, esa melodía que me martillea la cabeza pugnando por salir. Y como mi mente necesita tener al menos dos sentidos convenientemente estimulados, y una vez más las circunstancias así me lo permiten, al momento musicalizado le pongo también una imagen que lo completa, o así se lo parece a mis ojos y oídos. Y a la inversa: tengo la imagen que me apeteció captar y felizmente puedo envolverla con la música que ante mi mente la completa.

Y no hace falta más, no hay palabras que lo expliquen, porque lo que cada imagen musical o cada melodía gráfica transmite es inefable e irrepetible, personal e intransferible. No hay reglas en este juego, porque no es un juego, sino una herramienta más de comunicación. Y no importa si no llega a nadie o sólo a unos pocos: los medios justifican el fin, el objetivo.
